And maybe this is just my upbringing in the liberal northeast but this just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s not like they were showing any more skin than one would see at the beach, perhaps even less in this case. Or even less skin than you could show on TV which I presume would be more harmful. My major complaint, however, is that these little plastic shades, which were very clearly put there on purpose, did not work in the slightest. They were semi-transparent and it was very very clear what exactly they were feebly attempting to hide. Worse part is that to a curious child, likely the reason the shades were there, would just see it as an invitation to go over and look. Really it’s just an amount of insurance the store uses to avoid having to deal with angry parents.
